Snowmen - I suppose I had better say Snowwomen too!

Have many snowmen emigrated? I am sure that there were more of them on the 50s and the 60s. A good fall of snow and it seemed that in every other garden a snowman would appear. Of course, children in those days did not have all the electronic gadgets and unsocial media that they now have. I remember a friend of mine and I quietly building a rather large snowman in the garden of a house which was on the outside corner of a road junction on a bus route; it wasn’t our garden and it was built after midnight but it stood there proudly for quite a few days bringing smiles to the passing bus passengers.
