Police on bikes

Whilst many policemen walked their beat, quite a number rode bicycles. Some rode what where referred to as 'Noddy Bikes' and these very quiet motorcycles where ideal for patrolling as they could arrive without being heard; it was not unusual to see bicycles or Noddy bikes along alleyways. Cheap to run, and for most police duties, I believe much better than the high powered cars and motorbikes favoured nowadays.  BRING BACK THE NODDY BIKE!  (Google image search 'noddy bikes' and you will get more nformation)
