Those of us who remember how things were 50 years or more ago should take the time to make their memories available to younger people. A world without the internet, without on screen games and where direct face to face conversation substituted for texts, emails and so called social media - was it better? Was it worse? Milkman and doorstep milk delivery
Back in the fifties and sixties, almost all homes used to have milk delivered to the door - silver top and red top for most and gold top for those who could afford creamier channel island milk. Seems to me that the milk was always there first thing in the morning. I remember feeding a carrot to the milkman's horse but that might have been in the 40s.
