Suicide bombers

I have no recollection of there being any suicide bombers in the 50s or 60s. I remember that Jan Palach committed suicide by self immolation sometime towards the end of the 60s. He doused himself in paraffin and died in Prague as a political protest to the Russian invasion of Czechoslovakia
