Ban the Bomb

What a great spirit surrounded the CND (campaign for Nuclear Disarmament) in its early days.  We all felt that we would achieve something and hasten world peace. Well attended meetings and demonstrations, the annual Aldermaston march from Aldermaston to Trafalgar square. What did we achieve?  Well, we are still here and have not yet blown up each other!
